This model is suitable for software projects that are difficult to estimate from the time perspective (or this estimation costs too much). Usualy the projects are treated in an Agile manner and starts from minimum 3 months contract and can extend indefinitely. If you choose this model you are going to pay a fixed price per month for a 100% dedicated team. You have to pay an activation cost for this model each time when you activate the dedicated team for your project.

IF you have well defined requirements and project schedules, and you are looking for development within a time period already agreed, then this model is for you. The price for the development of the project is established before the start (the price is also based on the ownership clause of the contract) and the customer pays this price for the completed project.
IF you don’t have defined the requirments an IT consultant will come to your place and discuss the best options for your project and he is writing the requirments and pass them to the development team.
